ABOUT TREY FORD

Creator of Ten Toes Down

Where it All Began

Trey Ford is a third generation entrepreneur with a vested interest in the growth and expansion of small businesses, especially the African-American community. Ford attended University of Florida where he obtained his degree in Agricultural Operations Management with a focus in Construction Process.

In 2014, Ford launched the Tioga Times as an exclusive magazine for the neighborhood of Town of Tioga, an affluent neighborhood west of Gainesville, Florida. After 7 years of community reporting, Ford closed the publication to venture into entertainment and event curation with the launch of Black Films Matter (BFM) in 2018. BFM focuses on creating dynamic experiences around Black TV and Film. Ford also expanded his focus to launch the Fake Famous Comedy Tour (FF), a traveling tour with 3 comedians who perform and promote other up and coming comedians. Through BFM and FF Ford and his team share their audiences with local small businesses to help with market penetration and brand awareness.

With a heart to help others and make their dreams come true, Ford stepped into the role of a Publicist to work with Pascale Belony during her campaign to become Miss Haiti in 2019. Belony finished as the 2nd Runner Up in her first pageant ever and is now representing Haiti in the Miss Supranational Pageant. Trey Ford also acted as the campaign manager for 28 year old Ashantae Green. In her first ever political campaign and having no funding in a non-partisan race, Ashantae Green was recently elected supervisor of the Duval Soil & Water Conservation District.
